Kontiki makes global communication relevant and engaging for companies of all sizes. After partnering with UpTrending to execute successful marketing initiatives and brand positioning, Kontiki came to us for a complete website redesign. We simplified content, created a more modern and engaging user interface, and streamlined the visitor flow. We built a customized WordPress backend for the client to easily update their own content.

Goals & Strategy

Kontiki was repositioning itself within their parent company, Kollective. The redesign needed to simplify the messaging so that their enterprise video content management applications could shine. It also needed to present an experience that engaged visitors in Kontiki’s story, and moved through the appropriate content on the site. Despite moving some top-performing content over to Kollective’s website, we were able to increase traffic and customer engagement with an effective redesign and rebranding.

Letting the Product Shine

For Kontiki, effective deployment of video and motion helped give the user a real-time experience with the service. We took advantage of animation to guide users through the lifespan of a video presentation. Meanwhile, a refreshed color palette and flat illustration style brought the brand to life. The result was a visceral understanding of Kontiki’s value, and an exponential growth in engagement.
